Chelsey Roberts

Ensemble Music

Chelsey Roberts a native of Jacksonville FL. She has received her Associate in Arts degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of North Florida. She is currently attending the University of North Florida to complete the Masters of Music (Conducting) program. Mrs. Roberts has studied conducting with Dr. Gordon Brock, Dr. Erin Bodnar, and attended conducting clinics with Dr. Eugene Corporon, Dr. Gary Hill and Dr. Mallory Thompson. She has also played under the baton of many great composers such as Mark Camphouse, Frank Ticheli, Jack Stamp and Joseph Kreines.

 

As an educator, Chelsey has spent over 12 years working with middle and high schools students in a variety of performance opportunities. Her students consistently receive exemplary ratings in performance evaluations. She is a member of The Central States Judges Association and is certified in the caption of Ensemble Music. Chelsey regularly performs in local ensembles including the First Coast Flute Choir and First Coast Wind Symphony.
